"I do"

So I'm copying from my big sis and her little girls. I thought it was the cutest thing when my sister would say "who loves daddy" and her little girls would stick their hands in the air and say "I do, I do". So as soon as I picked up Brooke from the babysitter she started saying "daddy, daddy, daddy". I had to tell her that daddy was out of town and then she started being a crab. So in the car I asked her who loves daddy and I would raise my hand and say that I did. Brooke quickly caught on to the game. Of course capturing everything on video is the challenge. After I was getting her dressed from her bath I made it through almost the whole list of family and she said "I do" to everyone. But of course when I try to get it on video she doesn't perform as well.

Eat

I was doing dishes and I heard Brooke in the pantry saying "eat, eat". Normally when Brooke is in the pantry she wreaks havoc. One time she was only in there for a minute before I got her out and flour was spilled all over the floor. I just figured this time she was looking for some snacks. Then Ryan was walking by and started laughing and took this video. We had stashed the booster seat in the pantry because Brooke's cousin had just been over.

The booster seat proved to be pretty entertaining. She played with it for probably 20 minutes. A few times she would say "stuck" and I would go in there and she had gotten the tray locked on so I had to take it off for her!

Playtime with Ariya

Ariya came over and spent time with us and she was an absolute gem. The girls had fun playing together.

Say Cheese

Brooke is really starting to be cheesy for the camera. Plus she likes showing off her cute new outfit from Aunt Mei Mei (minus the shoes which were from Gammy).

Family Visit

First Real Haircut

Daddy was taking care of Brooke for the evening while I was running errands to get ready to leave for our week long trip to Mexico and much to my surprise I came home and daddy had taken Brooke to get her first professional haircut. I have hacked at her bangs on several occasions but have never gotten very good results!

Such sweet girls

Can't you tell how much Brooke loves her cousin Hadley!

Just kidding. Brooke does love Hadley even though Brooke calls her Ariya (her other cousin's name). It's quite frustrating because I say "Brooke, say Hadley" and she says "Ariya" because they sound so much alike! (eye roll) Brooke really needs to learn to give kisses with her mouth closed!!

Christmas Day

We spent the night Christmas Eve out at Nana G and Papa's. And it was a long night for Mommy. I stayed up late talking to Ryan's brother and at 3:30 AM Ryan brought Brooke to me because he said she was screaming (she was sleeping the same room as we were and Ryan had already gone to bed). I don't know what her problem was but she was very unhappy. I didn't get her back to bed until 6 AM. So I was quite a dud on Christmas day and didn't take many photos. After spending Christmas morning at Nana G and Papa's, we headed to Nana and Poppy's house to have Christmas there. My sister wasn't able to make it into town from Kansas City because of the snow. So we did Christmas the following day with all of the kids/babies on my side of the family. I need to dig up some pictures off of my dad's camera to post pics of all the babies having Christmas.

Christmas Come Early

Brooke received her Christmas present in the mail from Gammy and Papa and she really loved it.

Christmas Card

Brooke's great grandmother, Granny, sent Brooke a Christmas card and Brooke loved it. It had animals on the front and she was probably entertained for a good 15 minutes and two different occasions. At one point she was lying on her back holding it above her head. It was pretty cute. Thank you Granny!
