Talk about making me jealous . . . I'm sitting in my cubicle at work while my mother and sisters and daughter and nieces are having a fun time at the mall.

17 Months Old

Our precious little peanut is 17 months old. It is funny to see the new words she is learning every day. I was shocked when Brooke saw Nana eating a cookie and started chanting "cookie cookie cookie". I think she learned the meaning of this word from her Aunt Mei Mei because it definitely wasn't learned from her mommy.

Diaper Change

Brooke likes to say that she is "poopy" now . . . but most of the time she really isn't!

Fun with Aunt Mei Mei

Aunt Mei Mei has been babysitting Brooke for the last few weeks since Brooke's other babysitter said she can't do it anymore. Mei Mei had just quit her job so she is temporarily watching Brooke until I move Brooke to a new sitter. Brooke has been having a lot of fun with Mei Mei and her dog "Bella". Some of Brooke's new phrases are "there you go" anytime she hands you something. Mei Mei said that she says it all the time and Brooke has picked up on it. It's awfully cute!

And Brooke also loves, loves peanut butter! But poor Brooke has been wrestling with an ear infection for the last few weeks. It was in one ear and then that ear cleared up and the other ear is infected. Hopefully we'll nip it in the bud soon!
