First Easter

Brooke was surrounded by a lot of family and enjoyed her first Easter.

I made some chicken for Brooke and she wasn't too big of a fan. I think partly it was my fault though since I had it way too thick at first. I have to admit that the texture isn't that appetizing. But for the first time eating she was making faces like she didn't like it.

Mei Mei is such a good aunt and helped give Brooke her first drink out of a cup. Brooke couldn't figure out the spout on this cup so Amaris just took off the lid and gave it to her like a big girl!

Trying to Crawl

Brooke is starting to try to push up on her knees. Maybe it won't be too long before she starts crawling.

First Sleepover

Well Brooke had her first sleepover on Monday night. I guess it wasn't really a true sleepover since I stayed with her, but we'll go ahead and act like it was. Brooke and I spent the night at Nana and Poppy's so that I could get up and go to a 5:30 AM body pump class at Wilson's. So I sneaked out of the house at 5:10 AM and the little monkey woke up around 6 AM. It was the first morning that Brooke hasn't seen her mommy at all but she didn't seem to mind. She had fun playing with Nana and Poppy until Audrey picked her up at 8 AM! I was missing Brooke terribly by lunch time and was so excited to see her! I couldn't imagine going a whole day without seeing her!
